My desktop was also not working with the perma-login stuff. I figured it was probably because of the overly restrictive cookie settings I have, even though indyddr.com is allowed, but on a whim I went and checked (I don't really mind logging in every time).

It turns out that I had a cookie from both http://www.indyddr.com as well as indyddr.com. Clearing out all the cookies related to IndyDDR (both with www and without) and logging back in seems to have fixed the problem: I now stay logged in.

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
