I haven't been rated in forever. I guess a bad rating might be better than no rating.

Maybe I should really try for a rating.

actually, I think the rating system should just be done away with or reprogrammed somehow so it's not causing even MORE needless drama than what is already present

In many cases I've seen that you're probably referring to, existing "protection" already means that many of these "abuses" have limited effect.

Kthx.
A normality test:

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

The system is designed to handle abuse. I agree that there are people that have been using the rating system in questionable or even blatantly abusive ways lately. However, it would appear that the system is accounting for such abuse as intended.

MonMotha and I have discussed some additional enhancements to the rating system, but I will admit that making the time to actually implement them has not been a high priority.

If were going to do anything at this time, I'd just reset them all to zero (yes, all...as in EVERYBODY). Beyond that, I do not believe that any corrective action is really necessary at this time.
