Post by th34nt0ni0 » Thu Oct 25, 2007 1:26 pm

Finally.

November 3rd, 2007
Fort Wayne, IN
Sat Hours: 9am-1am
Entry fee $1.00
Qualifying to be done by 4, with the tournament starting at 5pm

Rules
-Hard/Expert. Best 2/3 wins the match. Players each choose one song. Players may choose their song to be played on hard or expert. 3rd song, if required, will be random and difficulty will be expert.
-Double elimination
-NCAA bracket based on qualifier, which will be decided day of the tournament
-No disqualifying mods allowed
-No turn mods allowed
-Players may only choose same song once during the tournament
-Score is recalc’d for obvious pad misses only
-no 12s or 13s first 2 rounds
-if someone does not pass their own song chosen, they automatically lose that round even if their opponent fails first

Cash Prizes
WINNER TAKES ALL!

We're just testing out the waters for an ITG tourney here. Will probably do these once a month with a larger one every three or so.

Come OUT!! :D

ALSO: we have PIU:ZERO and DDREX so if there is a large enough interest for tournaments in these areas then it's all good.

So I guess Putt-Putt is having tournaments again? Wasn't the last one they had a few years ago for DDR Extreme a complete disaster? Something happened along the lines of the Heavy division of the tech tournament being canceled since all the other divisions (Standard, freestyle, maybe Oni) took like 10 hours to finish.

Oh well, I'm glad to see a tournament being held in Indiana for once!

Is every Indiana ITG tournament going to have a boring, uncreative name?

Edit: Also it is normally good to give people at LEAST a month of advance warning not barely over a week. Cause I would have possibly used this as an excuse to drive up to Fort Wayne, but there is NO WAY I can get off work with a week of notice.

Boring, uncreative ?ame, where "?" is the classic unix wildcard. Many words resulting from such a substitution are applicable to the situation.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

also, tony said they're trying to do it once a month, so consider that your one month warning :)

Hey.. I had an idea for a rule at the last tournament..

"Random third song is redone if it comes up as one of the first 2 played"
