This year is different from the previous events. You must be in a club and nominated to represent the club you are in. However, there is a tournament the Friday before the main event. This tournament will be open to everyone.

You can still come hang out. Only the actual tournaments are closed this year.

As long as they tell the staff they are there for the tournament, there should not be a problem.

Awesome.

I plan on arriving in Chicago around noon-1pm Friday. I will probably be at D&B most of the day for setup and to compete in the open tourney later that day.

The only thing I am not looking forward to is waking up at around 4am on Friday then driving for six hours.

yeah i hear ya. adolfo asked me to drive to help pick ppl up from the airport and whatnot. but i told him that i was taking the train since the train station in 10miles from my house and it goes straight downtown
