Rocky Mount 8 "RM8" Tourney July 14-15!

Post by th34nt0ni0 » Mon Jul 09, 2007 12:35 pm

Pretty much an unofficial NAT07.

It's gonna be huge.

Me and Ron are going, and we want to pay less money for gas and hotel. So go with us and save!!

I get bitchin' gas milege (36mpg) so it's around $130 there and back divided by at least me and Ron. Our hotel is also around $100 including two nights. Divided by me, Ron, and BtbFlash so far.

Come on... go... it'll be fun. Omid (ihyd.dimo) and fucking dukamok are going to be there. lilq... hurtpiggypig...

5th: Tiza/Brendino(tie)

There was the occasional problem with the right side, but usually it would be BlueMystic over there and he pretty clearly won almost everything anyway....as a matter of fact, Flash blew up his perfect record by winning ONE SONG in the finals - aside from that, I'm fairly sure BM won every song of ITG. He almost ****'d Disconnected in the finals - after the 85% point, with just random 8ths to go, he picked up two, but it didn't matter - he had it in the bag by then. BlueMystic's pick for the finals was Vertex^2, he ended with a 95.28 with 2 way offs, a miss, and two mines because he didn't bother moving after the last hand...took a couple of shots at getting that * after the match was over, it didn't happen but probably will soon.

DDR: 1st: BlueMystic
2nd: MegaManX
3rd: NicX
In the semifinals - Paranoia Survivor: NicX - 3g, BlueMystic - AAA. In the finals - Legend of Max: BlueMystic - 2g, MMX - AAA. PSM Heavy: MMX - 2g, BlueMystic - AAA. Yeah, a few people still remember how to play this game.

Team Challenge:
1st: Omid/Dukamok
2nd: Flash/DDRFreak457
3rd: BotD/Daemonatheart
4th: BlueMystic/Godai
I'm a little surprised that MegamanX didn't even make top 5 in ITG after he posted the video of 5 ex on Bloodrush.

yeah. I've talked to Kevin a bit online since that 5ex bloodrush video.

He doesnt play nearly as much as he used to. He's still REALLY good though.

BTW: Anyone see the ITG finals video of Bluemystic on V^2? OMG. That was the most intense ITG video i've ever seen!

Folks have gotten really good at DDR. I'm surprised there wasn't any of this top level competition at Bowlmanifest.

Also good to see that there wasn't much bickering at the tourney.
