Is there a bar installed on the machine? If so, then yes. It's there, on the machine, straight from Konami. Don't make a no-bar rule unless you really feel that it isn't part of the game... keeping in mind what is and isn't part of the game is truly discretionary.

I could probably stomp the arrows using my face; it isn't in any handbook or instruction manual not to... will that be banned from the tournament?
