Ok this tournament i want to be BIG. So I am working on getting sponsorships for this tournament. I have applied for RedOctane, and will do so for Cobalt and RoXoR. I will update you as soon as possible if we get and sponsorships.
This tournament will be ran on August 12th, 2006, and will start at 3pm EST time. There will be 2 difficulties, Hard and Expert. You may sign up for both, but you may only win 1 RO or RoXoR prize. If you were to place in both difficulties, you would get your prize along with some tokens, if your from out of town and dont plan on using all of the tokens, talk to me and we can work something out.
Prizes will be announced here once I recieve the RO shipment.
Qualifier for Expert will be a random 10 block song, Hard will be a random 8 block song.
The qualifier will be chosen before qualifying matches begin to stop people from practicing just that song beforehand.
The brackets will be set up either 16 or 32, depending on the turnout
The brackets will be set up NCAA style.
Rules:
1. The top seed will be picking first or second song, then if a third song is needed, it will be chance.
2. Sandbagging is not tollerated at all. For those of you who dont know, sandbagging is where you can play on harder difficulty, but sign up for an easier one.
3. All Megaplay store rules apply before, after, and during the tournaments.
4. Winners for the songs will be determined by their percent after each song.
5. You may use any non-disqualifying mods for the tourny.
6. Sign up will be $5 in advance and $7 the day of.
