UKON DDR TOURNAMENT

Admission fee: 10$
Date: April 1st
Time: 2pm

Format: We will first do seeding to a qualfier which will be
decided on the day of the tournament. Once the brackets are
made, the highest seed picks the pad each time. The highest
seed will pick the first song and the lower seed will pick
two mods (if desired) that both players will have to play
the songs with. Stealth is banned. The formula for dance points is 2 * perfects + greats. The player with the most dance points wins.
In the scenerio that both players fail the song, the
player who failed the song first loses. Once the first match
is over with, the lowest seed picks the song, and the
highest seed picks two mods. In the event that neither
player wins both songs, the third song will be random. A
player can't pick the song more than once in the tournament.

The university won't let us give monetary prizes anymore, so we have to give gift certificates. I'm planning on putting 80% of the entry fees towards whatever gift certificate we get, and redoctane has given us two Red Octane ITG pads. I'm pretty sure the prize distrobution will be something like: First place gets a pad and 50% of the 80% of the total money (if that makes sense), and second place gets a pad and 30% of the 80% total.

Okay, I've added a few rules:
There is a manditory shuffle on:
anything above 550 moded bpm
anything below like 100 modded bpm
anything that is a real low speed with hidden/hig speed with sudden .

We got shitty flat itg pads from roxor, and the cat's den won't let us give money, so we'll have to give gift certificates as money. I figure we'll give about 80% of the tourny pot as prizes, and the gift certificate will probably be from somewhere like best buy. I'll take a poll on the day of the tourny to see where people would rather have a gift certificate. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
