I have confirmed the dates on my ADSW orders and I am pleased to state that I will be free on that day. I look forward to glomping the IIDX machine once again! (I think Blackcat and a few other people saw me do this back at DDR-A-Thon 6!)

So since it's very very likely that this tournament will be played on IIDX Gold, will there be any changes to the rules? Since difficulty is now on a 12 point scale, will the minimum difficulty for each round be raised? And I assume that all Another charts are going to go by their actual rating now, instead of assuming that they're all a 6 like it was before.

The rules will remain as posted originally. The treating of Anothers as 6s will be rescinded and the rating assigned by the game used instead.

ALL PARTICIPANTS PLEASE NOTE:
The rules for this tournament are simple, but may not be exactly what you expect. As the event approaches, please be sure you have read and understand the rules prior to entry. I'll be happy to clarify the rules at any time, but I will not change them simply because you don't like them, and I certainly won't be modifying or amending them after the event begins for any reason other than situations not anticipated or covered.

Any chance you can post a link to said "rules"?

I got a question which Motha will probably be the only person who can answer. Did the IIDX Gold Kit that's going in that machine receive the infamous timing patch or not? I'm mainly asking so I know what type of machine response I should expect so I can prepare appropriately.

It is running the last thing that was pushed out over e-amuse, which means it should have the timing patch.

Oh, I didn't know the kit actually was on E-Amuse. That kinda surprises me.

Well, since it's going to match console timing hopefully we'll see some pretty kickass scores.

I know in my case I did ヨシダさん Another (Which is a 9 and I hope people have the Japanese language pack installed) on a unpatched Gold machine and got 94.3% on it. I'm hoping to pass that on Saturday.

It is not on e-Amuse. It's a used kit that was evidently (and very unsurprisingly) on e-Amuse in the past.
