This is from RemyWiki's IIDXicon which has a ton of information on the impending US release.

- Regarding song charts, nothing has been "toned down", but "very minor changes have been made to some of the 'annoying' measures within songs in hyper mode. Another charts haven't been touched."

Hopefully more information is given concerning this as the idea of tampering with the intended notecharts has the potential to be the worst idea Konami has had since their decision to not include the Dance Play Option in DDR Extreme US.

Notechart altering Trivia: The console release of 10th Style uses a different verion of Love is Eternity Light 7 with measures 7 through 21 being much more simplistic compared to it's arcade counterpart.

Here is the best price for the bundle I've seen yet. Who knows how long this price will remain...but wow. If you ever thought of starting the crack of Bemani, this would be a great place to get in.

PSM Magazine is now available and features a playable demo.

Initial impressions:

3 songs playable in Beatmania and Beatmania IIDX modes. (Celebration, Funkytown, MGS Theme [5 Key], and Bad Boy Bass [IIDX], all 7 key songs are on beginner mode.) The songlist is shown on there and pretty much shows everything that I've already listed. Given that they don't alter the Hyper mode notecharts as rumored putting up scores on VJarmy should work just fine aside from the few licensed songs that are on there.

Graphics are very unimpressive when compared to 9th style, which is the very engine that is used for the game. Arcade Display is not available in the demo, which is disappointing to me as I have a widescreen HDTV.

Timing is the same as 9th style JP. You heard me, they didn't dumb that down thankfully. The grading system seems to have been altered so insteading of requiring 7/9 EX points for the AA and 8/9 EX points for the AAA, the grading has been shifted down one so getting better grades is easier. However, the final grade is still on the same system as the JP release!

Offnote: Demo only uses dualshock and does not work with KOCs as control options cannot be changed.
