A bit of an update as a few more songs for IIDX mode got announced.

5.1.1. / dj nagureo (I have to wonder if they are going to use the original notecharts or the one introduced in 12th Happy Sky AC/10th CS)
Jelly Kiss / Togo Project Feat. Sana (I predicted this one and got it dead on!)
Mobo Moga / Orange Lounge (I didn't think this would be on here at all.)
Presto / Osamu Kubota (Easily the worst confirmed IIDX song in this release in my opinion. Kubota's songs feel too A.D.D. rattled and fail to really work plus almost all of them have sync issues!)

Also, a new confirmed license from Karokee Revolution:
You Really Got Me / WaveGroup / Shoichiro Hirata

I've also confirmed that the Virtual Insanity Remix is 7 Key, NOT 5 Key which does not sit well with me at all!

Some other new info:
- High scores will go off of Money score and not EX score.
- No GOLI Art for results screens
- All IIDX videos are here in their full glory right down to Colors saying Beatmania IIDX 6th Style on the video!

Oh, here's a pic of the US controller...

I think there is some kind of mandate that this song must appear at some point in every Bemani series. ;)

That is true, but the song usually appears in the 3rd or 4th game in each music series.

Quoted for truth.

I got my fliptop from them. While they did ship mine in good time, they sent the wrong one. I ordered a version 9/10 fliptop, but they gave me a version 1-3, or something like that. Now, I was able to make it work, but I had to cut back a lot of plastic, and my PS2 doesn't have covers for the memory card slots now.

Yeah, I ordered from them around December 15th or so, and nothing. They said that my package was returned to them unsent or something, and that they sent me "Ultimate Swap" But it was supposed to be here like the 24th...

I don't really feel like spending that much time on fliptops so I just went with a slidecard. When it comes to that stuff, look high and low for the most trustworthy vendor. That's about the only advice I can give.

I just got the same bullshit email: "unclaimed and returned damaged"
Yeah, too bad I don't have to claim it.

I've heard that, too, but it's still unconfirmed as far as any official source I know about.

As for pricing...EB is currently listing the bundle for $59.99.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/259617.asp

They were initially listing both the bundle and the game by itself at $49.99, but they have updated their listings this month. The game by itself is no longer listed and the bundle is now $59.99. That's still quite a bargain compared to importing the game. Heck, that's still a bargain compared to native Japanese pricing (typically ~$50 for the controller and ~$60 for each game)!

I've never seen the controller for $50 anywhere! Where is this information coming from?

He said the native Japanese pricing, which isn't too far off. Amazon.co.jpright now has the regular controller listed at ¥6090 which by current exchange rates is about $51.

Alright, I'll have to relent on the controller, the US controller is good for new players though as importing them is too expensive. We'll find out March 15th what makes it tick. As for the games, sites finally started selling them with not as much of a markup as I got 10th style for $65 and $3 shipping. I just hope they do a game only release cause I don't wanna buy another controller since I'm already getting an ASC from Desktop Arcade.
