Buttons are good! Very clicky. I got the 100g Omron switches and Sanwa buttons to try to emulate the arcade as much as possible. You definitely have to put in some effort to hit the keys compared to the USKOC but the sound of the button click and the deliberate effort you have to put in to activate a key helps me stay on beat better. Unfortunately I'll have to build up some more hand stamina before I can do the really fast shit at the level I was able to do on the USKOC but hey, in theory that should make me a better player.

The turntable is a little stiff and I think I may try to loosen it a bit when I get home from work today.

Man I kind of wish I had the opportunity to play on an arcade-style controller when I was coming up in the Beet world because there's nothing more frustrating than seeing your scores drop an entire letter grade because your left hand goes full-retard when a scratch comes up


Time to unlearn 10 years of muscle memory!
