Get an ASC and that should never happen (or you're doing it really wrong if it does).

Cut it off. You weren't going to wed anyway.

But then how will I scratch the turn table and play V?

Does anyone here actually enjoy charge notes or am I just an asshole for thinking that they are the worst thing to happen to Beet?

I'm kind of indifferent about them. I'm surprised they didn't show up sooner given that freezes have been in DDR for so long and KBM had hold, I think from the beginning.

It so weird that they waited 17 iterations of the same game before they added freeze notes. Turntable freezes a la BMIII are cool but charge notes just seem limiting and awkward. I mean whatever it's a part of the game now but I'm stubborn and I don't like 'em.

You are the most resistant to change when it comes to video games.

I wouldn't go that far, it's just that a LOT of games nowadays are shitty. I mean, for fuck's sake, the new Syndicate game is going to be generic FPS # 1,583. They took an old IP that was an unique isometric squad-based game and turned it into a Halo / Modern Warfare. If people made good games I wouldn't be complaining but as it is the brotastic games make the millions while the Braids and DJ Heros get pushed aside. I like what they did with GF/DM but one could argue that the XG series is another game like IIDX.

Developers have stopped being innovative, a lack of innovation breeds stagnation, and stagnation begets cynicism.

What they should have done was bring back the foot pedal, that would have been better than charge notes but hey, that would have required a hardware change. So we get stuck with charge notes instead and now there's another layer of complexity on an already hard as shit game. I understand that there isn't anywhere the series can go at this point without going into a new game like BMIV but as far as I know IIDX prior to charge notes still got a ton of play in Japan so it seems weird that Konami felt like they needed to change up the formula.

You can still change things up for the better without fucking with the game itself, adding in black anothers is a great example of this because they add more replayability to the game especially when done to old charts like on Premium Best.

This is a lot of words about Beet I have been trolled hard.

EDIT: I guess I have good enough taste to know when something is shitty and I have the gall to convey my opinion.

Your usual cadence is gone.

DJ Max, O2Jam, and that other Korean game have had similar for a long time now. Maybe they wanted to steal a page from other rhythm games?

Re: favorite beet moment:

I AAA'd Fantasia [H] and my accuracy usually sucks and keeps me down in the AA range. 1399/1562 so I barely made it, but the fact that I didn't realize I did it at first made it awesome for me.
