By the by, for anyone who's interested in the Pop'n series also, I feel compelled to point out that the IIDXicon referenced earlier also has a nice Pop'n wiki, again with info on all the CS releases.[/shameless plug]

Okay, off-tangent (but on-topic...sort of), I was wondering if I can find this just sitting on the shelf at Best Buy or EB Games or something of the sort. The problem is, I get back to the states on Thursday (the 27th) night at like 9:30 or something. Then, on the 30th, I'm going to stay at my cousin's house for a week. I would like to buy the beatmania pack (BM US + controller) in the ~2 days that I'm in the Fort so I can take it to my cousin's house. It would be rather inconvenient for me to have to order this off the internet. So, what store would I be most likely to find this on-shelf? Or should I just look at a certain store's site and check if they have it?

I know some Targets were carrying them.

I was considering selling my US KOC after I got my Desktop Arcade Controller in, but now that I have started playing 14 keys and the fact that I can trade in to get a discounted price on a 2nd DA will keep me from doing that now.

So basically anyplace except Best Buy and Wal-Mart.

Well, I checked all (or most) of the potential stores' sites for the BM bundle, and this is what I found:
1. http://www.toysrus.com brings up no results when searched for "beatmania".
2. http://www.bestbuy.com has the bundle for $49.99 (!), but it is not available in any stores in or near Fort Wayne.
3. http://www.ebgames.com has the bundle for $59.99, but it is not available in any stores in or near Fort Wayne
4. http://www.amazon.com has the bundle for $56.99, but the shipping takes too long and I'm not gonna pay for the expedited.
5. http://www.target.com, as far as I can tell, does not have the bundle but only the game, as the only result was called "Beatmania US" (no "bundle") and was priced at $39.99.

Suggestions?

The websites don't sync with what is available in any given store. Yes, I am aware that Target's online site does not list the bundle, only the game. Their stores (so far as I can tell) do not stock the game, only the bundle. I purchased both of my instances of the IIDXUS bundle at a Target.

SDP is right... you have a copy of the Yellow Pages somewhere, yes? Then get out that phone and start making calls.

Got it!

Bought it yesterday, played about 2-3 hours yesterday, about an hour today. I've been playing mostly 7-key. Hey, what does L7 mean? Is that "Normal" mode or whatever? Anyway, I've been playing mostly beginner, and so far I've passed all the 2 star songs on beginner, all except one with an A or better (I have a C on Presto). Oh, and I didn't pass one 1 star song (Outer Limits...HOW IS THIS 1 STAR?!?!). I also got my first AAA! e-motion beginner (1 star). I got 38 perfects and 20 greats. So, yeah, right now I tried a few 3 star songs, haven't managed to pass any yet, but probably I will by the end of the day.

EDIT: Played a little bit more, and now I've passed 2 3 star songs! Celebration (A) and Paranoia Max ~Dirty Mix~ (B), both on Normal. EDIT 2 (maybe I should put this in my brag board?): Now, Toxic Normal (A) and You Really Got Me Normal (A), too...still can't do Outer Limits Beginner (a freakin' 1 star...).

Um, I don't suggest looking at that song now! Aside from the songs that have appeared on RED, I have only played the US exclusives ONCE until today.

Also, just because I have a certain amount of skill on 1 player mode doesn't mean that I'll jump to double play and destroy everything easily. IIDX skiills don't develop overnight.
