Shannon, obviously you're good as fuck now so AAAs come easy but when you were first getting into AAAs did you whore out a song that you wanted to AAA? For example, did you go into the arcade with the mindset of AAAing So Deep so you played So Deep all day until you got the AAA?

Did you ever get into doubles? I didn't touch doubles when I was going to arcades back in the day but now that I own a machine doubles helps keep me interested in the game.

No Merk I never whored out songs. In rare instances, I'd flag a song first try or maybe get 2 or 3g, then I knew I could AAA it. So i would play a whole set of that song. If I AAAd it then I was on cloud 9 but if I didn't then I just moved on. Of course I was paying to play per set and didn't want to waste all my money on 1 song. Now that I'm not, whoring is very acceptable lol..

I absolutely loved doubles back in the day. I have only played 1 set of doubles since I've had my machine. I'll get back into doubles though. Like you said, keeps it interesting and I believe doubles can improve stamina and keep you light on your feet when playing 10s on single player

So I was watching that clip where the guy is about to bowl a 300 and the pin reset thing came down on him. it switched to the announcers and they were like "this is a real tough oil pattern here bob" and because of this thread I knew exactly what he was talking about
