Man I dunno, people are pretty desensitized to dancing games at this point. People tend to stop and stare now if you're doing something ridiculous or excruciatingly loud. I suppose playing backwards on stealth would be mighty fun to watch to the layman as well.

Though the first time I played a rhythm game at an arcade was only 2008 (ItG), the impressiveness factor seems to have stayed pretty constant since then. I dunno. At GXS at least, people tend to glance over if someone plays a fast, loud (most importantly) Pump song on both panels. As for DDR, it's harder to say. I've never seen anyone play on stealth, let alone backwards.

Heh, yeah. Truth be told, my enjoyment of games in general has waned a bit recently, but if I ever feel up for GXS I'll try to head over there on Thurs./Fri. afternoon as per http://www.indyddr.com/forums/viewtopic ... 961#p84314 .
