This may have been a Freudian slip, but I love it (and have now stolen it for my on-topic/off-topic scale).

No, I know what a Freudian slip is...but that still doesn't make any sense. Does what Arka said make sense to you? Because to me, it seems to have nothing to do with what blackcat said.

Heck, it's been summer for me since like early May, and I'm
forced to learn things over the summer because of summer school

On-topic: relevant to the original purpose of a thread or discussion.
Off-topic: unrelated to the original purpose of a thread.
On-tangent: unrelated to the original purpose but related to the previous topic of the thread.
Off-tangent: completely, wildly foreign to anything previously talked about in the thread.
Italics denote new definitions, inspired by "sorry we got a little off tangent..."

Hah, she broke the Di Katy Code!
[/yes, I know...not funny]
wow, this kid is getting quite the welcome. Or would it even be a welcome? I guess it's just us talking amongst each other and stealing his shine.
At least his introduction thread was quite educational...

Ah, I see. I would take that as a case of you reading into what she said a little too much (I could be wrong). I thought she meant off-topic and just mixed up words, and took it as what she meant (what I thought she meant) not what she said verbatim.
