Andamiro has released an intro video for the next version of Pump It Up:

sorry about the hideous image...I screen capped it from the video
Apparently the title is Pump It Up NX ABSOLUTE. Andamiro must have something against the number 3...
Exceed, Exceed 2, Exceed 3? No! Zero!
NX, NX2, NX3? No! NX ABSOLUTE!
Whatever.
I'm glad to see they're sticking to their schedule of a new release every year. It's always nice to have some new content to play. However, I'm disappointed with their logo design. They're back to making Pump It Up a footnote. I'm sure people unfamiliar with the game will read this as NX Absolute Pump...which makes even less sense than the actual title does already.
The NX2 logo did a nice job of making the Pump brand prominent and made reading the title easy for people not familiar with the game.
NX was a little ambiguous, but not the worst.
Zero wasn't too bad. Pump It Up is kind of faded out, but at least the order is clear.
Exceed 2 was a disaster. I can't tell you how many times I heard it called "2 Exceed 2". You have to search really hard just to find the words Pump It Up and the Pump logo is completely absent.
Their art department generally comes up with stuff that looks pretty good. They just often don't read very well. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised given all the delightful engrish sprinkled around the cabinets and in the games.
