...Pump it Up like Conquest mode on Soul Calibur 2 would..be..amazing.

Tell Me by Wonder Girls is now only in the Korean build of NX2. Solitary 1.5 and No Despair look to be unlocks through the USB system.

That's a bummer.

I wonder if this means they'll actually be more diligent about cleaning up after themselves with regard to all the "extra" stuff that's been left in previous game builds--like the five orphaned songs in NX.

So is this no longer an "International" dance floor? The whole point of that concept was that the game was identical internationally.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

It seems the game is still international, as long as you don't live in Korea (or own the Korean version).

I wonder what has changed between the two. Are the differences between the two types solely song selection, or are there interface differences as well?

The only known difference is the one song, though I am sure they have not cleaned up after themselves when they took the song out.

Here is the NM chart for Tell Me:

I love the song, but the chart can die in a fire with all of its speed changes/stops.

I see they actually used the music video...

I'm not sure if it's just the angle of the camera that shot the video, but the interface (and even the video) don't look stretched. They actually seem to be properly formatted for the 16:9 aspect. I seem to recall the music video is widescreen--or at least letterboxed.

I wonder if this means they actually have selectable 4:3 and 16:9 modes to match the cabinet monitor. The interface is easy enough to "fix" without stretching, but I wonder what they did with all the old 4:3 background videos and if any/all of the new videos are native 16:9.

Pro seemed to just stretch all the videos. Given that most Pump backgrounds aren't live video, it wasn't exceptionally objectionable. But as a video purist, I'd prefer they just barn door them. There are several letterboxed videos in 4:3 already, so they don't seem to have a strong aversion to black bars.
