PIU NX2 revealed

Post by Amp Divorax » Sat Nov 03, 2007 10:10 am

As there are some people here who play the Primary PIU series still, they will probably like this quite a bit.

Support for USB Thumbdrives has been confirmed. The calories diagram however has been removed. There are also a couple of new songs in the demo unit:

Wonder Girls - Tell Me
Yahpp - Capri-Sonne
Yahpp - Faster Z (classic remake) (Nightmare level 23)

the USB drive was supposed to be on NX1 BUT for some odd reason the Komani/roxor lawsuit put a hault to that...that is good that it is coming to NX2, I am just worried about the fact as like you said a nightmare at level 23, I hope that they lay off the retarded ass gimicks this time around, or else I will tell Daniel to go Pro and we will keep hacking the damn machine to add new songs.

A level 23 nightmare is not unheard of by any means. LIADZ2 NM (on Zero) was the first song officially rated 23. Dignity is a 22 and a damn hard 22 at that. Some of the Anothers on Zero should be rated 23 or at least 22, and of course Chimera and Bemera are both way harder than even LIADZ2.

I do agree though that they need to lay off the gimmicks, at least in arcade station. That sort of stuff belongs in the Another charts. When you play an Another, you deserve what's coming to you :)

The calory (sic) display going away isn't bad at all. It was grossly inaccurate, anyway. I'll miss all the Engrish, but I'm sure they'll replace it with plenty more.
A normality test:

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.
