[FOR FREE!] Koss desktop PC speakers

Here's a pair of Koss PC speakers from my eBay pile. Don't expect much from these. They're cheap, but they work. I don't even remember where they came from. They're not really worth the effort to me of listing on eBay, but if someone here can use them...they're yours for the asking!

Let me know you want 'em and all you have to do is be willing to meet me at X-Site sometime when I'm there (usually Tuesday nights) and I'll hand them to you. Hopefully you'll hang out to play a game or two of Pump It Up. ;) Then you can be on your merry way back to your PC where you can plug them in and listen to some MP3s or play some games with sound that is...well, better than nothing!

I think there's battery compartments on them, but the AC adapter is included as well. Like I said, these aren't great by any means. But if someone can make some use of them, I'd rather give them away vs. tossing them in the trash.

WOW! I can't believe somebody else on this forum actually has owned old skool PC speakers.

I have a similar set of Creative Labs branded PC speakers that came with a Sound Blaster PRO 2. I also at one point had an ancient set of unamplified speakers that came with some 8-bit Aztec based sound card that I dumped in my XT clone near the end of its lifespan, but I think those are gone, now.

Also, wtf bump.

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

The creative labs ones are sitting in my parents' basement on a PC that gets used for playing old school DOS games. Old school games on an old school PC call for old school speakers.

As for the unamplified things, if I still have them, I don't know why. I think they've been tossed, though.
