Cobalt Flux for sale (bought from factory 3 weeks ago)
Hey, there. I'm a first time poster from the west side near Avon. I bought a Cobalt Flux pad a few weeks ago to answer a nagging question: Do I really like metal dance mats? As it turns out, I don't.
I danced on it for a couple of hours and ended up finishing off the night on my Ignition 3.0, finding that I really preferred the soft pad over the metal mat mostly because I've got bad ankles and feet. Pounding on the hard pad was uncomfortable for me, almost disabling after a couple hours of play. Keeping the mat would be a waste of space (and $), so I've decided to sell it to a deserving member of the Indy DDR community (hint: this could be you).
For anyone who likes dancing at the arcade and thinks the softer pads are shortchanging you on your score, the Cobalt Flux is certainly the way to go; its accuracy is unparalleled as is its durability. Again, it just isn't the right fit for me.
If you're interested, let me know, and we'll get in contact over the phone and haggle out a price. Just keep in mind that this pad is essentially brand new. I still have the box and packaging in my living room.

I promise everyone here that nabecker will not see this response but I am in the market for a working cobalt flux and would totally like to partake in a creepy Craigslist style bargaining process

I think the O.P. is lying because Cobalt Flux dance pads are not made of metal.

Merk, Merk, Merk... you don't want to be known around here for breaking promises, do you?Merk wrote:I promise everyone here that nabecker will not see this response but I am in the market for a working cobalt flux and would totally like to partake in a creepy Craigslist style bargaining process
OK, I'll grant it: that was a totally rational assumption. I saw the responses to this thread almost a year later.
Anyway, the pad is still for sale, and it hasn't been used since I posted this. In fact, I've only played DDR once since I posted this My Ignition 3.0 broke, and I have no money to buy another.
If you're interested in the pad, you may do better to email me at nabecker@indiana.edu rather than replying to this thread since I check my email more frequently than once a year. Let's get this thing sold quickly!!!

Well holy shit you replied!
Did you just happen to randomly come onto IndyDDR and see that your thread has been posted in or did check the little "Notify me when a reply is posted" box when making your post?
Anyway, how does $150 sound?

I think you should e-mail him rather than replying to this thread because he checks his e-mail more than once a year.

But I want to know the answer to Merk's question!

Yeah I'm curious to how s/he came to randomly check on this thread as well.
Obviously.
Damn, if I still worked at RITS over at IU I could totally stalk nabecker and find out their info.
