You shouldn't be content with buying a bad game just so you can buy a tested/fixed version of the game later. How much does Diablo cost to play?

Yeah it's pretty dumb but that's sort of par for the course for big name vidja games now:
* Call of Duty has to release a game every year
* Metal Gear Solid has you pay $20 for a demo
* Blizzard will sell you a polished half of a game and then sell you the second half years later. They have more or less always done this except this time I'd say that expectations for D3 Vanilla were a little higher and their execution was way the fuck lower but they made a conscious effort to turn themselves around (remove Jay Wilson, shut down auction house, Loot 2.0) which is more than what any other company would do so I'd give them a pass.
