Going to get this thread out of the way. Who all is going to play this? Pretty much everyone I've talked to, even the most unlikely of people, have pre-ordered and are hype for this game.

I'm going in as a wizard and I'm going to try to get my character name to be xXaChInEsEtEeNaGeRXx or some other sort of racially charged name since EVERY one in Diablo II had some sort of vile and racist character name. Thank goodness you don't see character names anymore and it just shows your account name or whatever.

I think I am in as Merk#1706. Let's get an IndyDDR adventuring group together yaaaaaay.

I believe my bnet name is Riot55 or Riot55555. I am going to be a monk probably, though Demon Hunter and Barbarian look fun too. I think hopefully Monks will be good for survivability and groups, and have good damage output/dodge as well. I feel like there are too many people I know who will be playing that 4 per game is going to cause problems....

How is it gonna work if higher level peeps come in? Do lower levels get less xp?

No one knows anything about this game really which is sort of the fun! Launch day will mean we finally get to see how all this shit they've been telling us actually works!

Compy parts are on the way. I basically went with the same specs Riot did minus a $10,000 video card.

I've always liked clans/teams where everyone uses some dumb theme instead of actual handles. The Crayola Clan is the first that comes to mind.

So Merk and I touched penises for a while last night. It's about as challenging as cooking Ramen, but still a good time. We'd planned to play later, but 3003/37 kicked us off.

My Wizard is named Asheron from the best MMO of all time.

Chad and I touch wands. We roll together, we die together. In true Blizzard fashion I am in as CHINGCHONG the little Korean wizard girl.

Had a lot of fun playing however long I was able to last night. Game is super carebear in the beginning but we'll all see how hard it gets and if it lives up to being "really fucking hard" in the final difficulty. Everything is WoWified but that's standard Blizzard in 2012, we all knew the game wasn't going to be gritty back in 2008 or whatever so it's not a big deal, if it boils down to a fun game where I can dick around with people then I'll have no complaints.

If I didn't friend request you last night it's because I was too hype to play this game and since I work weird hours I wanted to play as much as possible. NO TIME FOR FWENDS MUST PLAY GAIM.
