And 20 lbs heavier.

SDP do you genuinely think you can make it? I'm on the prowl for deals since they usually start dropping when April comes along.

At this point, no. I'll be face deep in biochem.

It means I have to take a year's worth of biology classes this summer and I most likely won't be able to take off that 4 day block.

The venue is probably at Caesar's this year because the WSOP Main Event starts that weekend and the Rio is going to need to use just about every square inch of their convention space for it.

I'm not gonna lie. I really, really like the way Skullgirls looks and how over the top and fluid the animation is but holy shit I would be embarrassed to be seen playing the game by any normal human being.

I've heard a lot of good things about it. Apparently it plays a lot like MvC2. There's a lot of cool little fighting game player tweaks, like not jumping when it knows you're trying to do a 360 move. I don't really know if I'd be good at it since the button scheme seems way different (double buttons, like hadoken + lk/lp) and stuff, but I like the flexibility. It seems that being a team of 1 or 2 is better than having 3 characters with lower life even with the assists. It's cool, you can set any move you want as an assist, so you can have Cerebella's throw be an assist, or you can have a cr.mk from the Painwheel or whatever character has a multi-hitting low that keeps em' in place for a second to continue combos. For $15 you probably can't go too wrong. Great GGPO netcode as well I believe.

Because honestly sfxt is easymode casual scrub friendly and capcom wants to get more people into fighters. Now if youre asking why it didnt make it into sf4 et al then dunno. I personally like the FADC system but I do pull out third strike from time to time. There's a barcade in portland that has a 3rd strike cabinet too so we go get buzzed and drop combos all night.

God, I fucking hate comeback mechanics. It makes comebacks soooooo much less impressive. Take the infamous Daigo 3S video for example, if he had just popped X-Factor of something to stop the chip from Chun's super that would be boring as shit. Having to parry it and actually PUT EFFORT into the comeback is what made it exciting. Same thing with the Justin Wong Marvel 2 Cyclops comeback video, if he had just popped some X-Factor equivalent it wouldn't have made anyone go hype.

With fucking Marvel 3, SF4, and all the fucking games out there now you just activate whatever comeback mechanic there is and spam safe shit into some bread and butter combo. The "BUT BOTH PLAYERS CAN USE IT" argument is stupid because the fact remains that comeback mechanics reward bad play. X-Factor is by far the worst offender.

I just want a Street Fighter 3: 4th Strike.

It's amazing how fast time flies, we're rounding the bend to June. I would not mind it if we went to Fort Wayne but I want to do something special like gambling or tubing or bar hopping or a huge meal or whatever. Fort Wayne is always a relaxing good time for me but I feel like we should do something special. The last time Chad and I went up two weeks ago was awesome and I want more of that.

Watching a stream for this game right now and it's pretty hilarious. I want to download this. Hope there's a EVO tourney for this game.

Chad what does your work schedule look like around this time?

Just want to figure out the car situation since you adamantly do not want to drive up to Fort Wayne on your own. I am NOT working the 6th (Friday), 7th, 8th, or 9th which is great for EVO! In a perfect world I would leave after work on the 5th (Thursday) at 8:00pm.
