Yeah I wish this was the online character select music instead of just arcade mode. I'm already tired of the main menu music as I try repeatedly to get games online and go through "Failed to connect" messages. I'm like 60 and 20 in ranked matches! Not bad not bad, getting a bit tougher now that I'm being placed against higher ranked people.

I can reliably pull off his little swing combos in training but there's something about online that makes them just stop working whatsoever. I guess it's the lag, but it just seems like they all fall apart no matter what. I like that he can be an annoying keep away character that can lock down with Sentinel's drone assist or can switch into up close combo mode that can benefit from Akuma's tatsu assist, and can DHC into both my other members' hypers pretty well.

I'm digging l > m > h > swing > j.m > j.m > swing > j.m > j.h > s > j.m > j.h > j.s > land > j. qcf+h (jumping downward arrow) > qcf x2 atk (jumping downward arrow hyper)

Does a lot of damageeeeeeee and I can DHC into both teammates' hypers.

kinda funny, mainly just when the dude playing sentinel comes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFykoEmBq5A

Justin Wong's team (She-Hulk/Tron Bonne/Amaterasu) is scary. Tron's assist is super good.

I'd like to propose a bet for anyone interested to encourage hype and to make the game a bit more interesting. Since many characters are viable in this game, I think this will work out.

This would be a 1 vs 1 bet.

Rules:

- Each player chooses their opponent's team one-by-one in an alternating order (ie Merk makes Riot play Captain America, Riot makes Merk play Tron, Merk makes Riot play Hulk, so on and so forth).

- You can play your team in any order and use any assist (ie Merk can roll with Task/Ammy/Tron or Ammy/Tron/Task or whatever the heck he wants).

- Each player has at least one week to practice their team.

- Players compete in a first to 10 money match for whatever stakes they agree upon.

- Players will compete live unless it absolutely has to be done over XBL.

- If possible, the match will recorded to document the hype and scrub play.

I will be willing to play for a dollar to get the ball rolling. Since I'm a baller I'll play for higher stakes if people really want to.

Maybe we will find a truly awful team. Or, even better, we'll find a team that is truly awful on paper turn out to be amazing.

A problem gambler may say things like:
"I know I should stop but I love to gamble."
"My wife/husband/partner/parents/children want me to quit but I'm not sure I do."
"Maybe I can slow my gambling to the point where it is manageable."
"I want to quit but don't think I can."

Before gambling occurs, the decision to gamble has been made. If you have an urge to gamble: stop what you are doing and call someone, think about the consequences to your actions, tell yourself to stop thinking about gambling, and find something else to do immediately.

Please call your friends. Don't yell at ChobocaboJoe

I know that's a troll post but seriously how is this gambling?

There's a difference between playing a videogame for money and playing a game in a casino that's rigged in the house's favor.

Hey so you know you can't just set up a player match without making a lobby and having to quit to the character select screen all the time? It turns out you can and it's just not documented anywhere.

Go to player match and set the language to something that's not spoken in your region so it won't match you up with anyone, then hit the guide button and go to your friends list and you have the option to invite people.

Right, but this isn't a game of chance. It's a game of skill. Both players have a very direct influence on the outcome.

There's no true luck in MvC3.
