Hopefully you can play with a regular controller too.

Yeah, Kinect isn't required to play.

Just came out, apparently it's really good. Most people say it's better with Kinect, but it's not required. Lots of people said they were tearing up when playing it was just so bee-yoo-tee-ful.

Oh yeah...I was going to try to pick this up today. Thanks for the reminder.

Well Brian did you ascend into a higher state of consciousness yet?
Re: Child of Eden (Rez sequel)
I don't know about that, but I did buy the game, played it, and enjoyed it.
The visuals are fantastic and the music is lovely. The Kinect controls are a little bit awkward at first, but after I got used to them, I think they add a satisfying visceral element to the game. It's a lot like the feeling I get from playing something like DDR, pop'n music, or DrumMania vs. something like IIDX. IIDX is enjoyable. The music really gets me going and there is great satisfaction in being able to achieve attain skill and achieve higher goals. But the addition of the physicality required to play the other games I mentioned (and Child of Eden) heightens the overall experience for me.
