That trophy looks pretty awesome. I'm not going to compete, but I'll play you a few rounds for shiggles.

Rank 1 in No More Heroes 2. What to play next... God of War? Boob Raider?

I like the part where they read comments and tweets out loud.

Game is gettin' a lot of good reviews. I wonder if they upped the difficulty a bit. HmmmmMMmmmMMmm

Difficulty is such a tough thing to increase. The simplest solution is to change some value such as health, damage, or time. The problem that invariably arises is when a change affects a player or enemy differently than another player or enemy. In my experience, games really only need two modes:

1. Normal mode. The way the game is intended to be played, and the way it has been designed to be played.
2. Babby casual we-are-a-business-and-need-to-make-money fun mode. A completely unchallenging mode for people that just want to complete the story, but would rather push buttons than watch a Youtube playthrough.

Anything else is just dev time taken away from making Normal mode a better experience.

Edit: Note that normal mode doesn't need to be hard. It just needs to be 'the game'. Pretty much all games before the PS2 era were like this.

Kinda a cool idea:

Basically a hard-mode rebalancing of Final Fantasy Tactics. This website has a bunch of other old RPGs that have been made harder too. FFT was such a great game maaaaang.

I was playing Solstice, Operation Wolf, & Back to the Future for Arcade Legacy's Beat it or Die Trying. Had my best run of Solstice with 10 minutes and 20 seconds and 2 deaths, but really was hoping to clear 10 minutes.

Now, I'm going to work on Battletoads, Rolling Thunder, Legacy of the Wizard, and Silver Surfer.

I've been playing Rocksmith for a while - it's fun to play a real guitar!

I'm working on Balloon Fight. They're having a tournament at Arcade Legacy in one and a half weeks and, for some odd reason, there's going to be an epic battle between me and one other person there.

I got this last year and played it a little but got distracted and haven't made it back to it yet. I agree that it's fun. I imagine I'll pick it up again at some point.

I've been there three times, one time to play around in the arcade and two for their Beat It or Die Trying series. It's definately fun to check out. Some of the machines need some TLC, but it's a good place. $10 all you can play. As far as Bemani goes, they have DDR Extreme (working left pad from when I played it Wednesday), Pop'N 18 (which the controller feels a bit off, but don't know any tech jargon to say why it could need a bit of fixin'), Drummania 10th I think and a Guitar Freaks which is broken.

They also have a 6 player X-men, Shinobi, & Battletoads arcade machines, with some Neo Geo cabs and a bunch of fighters that can be switched up. Windjammers & Magical Drop 3!!!

Just beat Bioshock Infinite. Wow! You guys should definitely play it. It's one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played, and the whole storyline/ending is awesome. It's one of those games that's focused on telling a smart, intricate story first and doesn't dumb everything down so everyone can "get it." Very very good game. Plus Merk will like it because it's very racist!

I'm playing Battletoads on NES. I'm whoring it right now because of my participation on Beat It or Die Trying tomorrow for Arcade Legacy. I'm hoping to pull it off.
