I've missed out on years of games. Currently playing Bioshock. What's worth my time?

I already have Serious Sam HD and FF13 on my list. SSF IV when it is released. I'm very open to Indie and Arcade games.

Remember, me no likey JRPGs. I'm making an exception for FF13.

Mega Man 9 and 10 off XBOX Live Arcade
I still spend a lot of time playing Geometry Wars Evolved
Bioshock 2 is worth playing, story not as awesome but still good
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is also on Xbox Live Arcade

Are you actually playing FF13?

You should get Shadow Complex, it is really good metroidvania. Speaking of that, you can also get Symphony of the Night if that floats your boat. There are a lot of old Sega games and Street of Rage crap that you like I think. Best thing to do maybe is to go look at Gamespot and sort by Review Score or Arcade Games to go look at what has high scores and to just investigate those. Here are some to think about, mainly just arcade titles:

-Gears of War 1 and 2 (cheap these days, really fun, atmospheric 3rd person shooters)
-Braid
-Castle Crashers (especially for 4 player mode... sidescrolling fun!)
-Ikaruga
-Chime (music/puzzle hybrid like Lumines http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzzle/ ... ;gamespace)
-Splosion Man
-Trials HD
-Duke Nukem 3D
-Catan
-Exit (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzzle/exit/review.html)

Also just go to Gamestop or something and browse cheap used games. You can pick up a lot of the popular older games for really cheap.

edit: So the ones that stand out as something you might like after glancing at this list: http://www.gamespot.com/reviews.html?ty ... ficial=all

-Grand Theft Auto IV
-Bayonetta
-Borderlands (fps + rpg... kinda like Diablo 2 meets Team Fortress 2)
-Prototype
-Darksiders
-Prince of Persia (kind of repetitive platforming, but gosh it is purdy)
-Earth Defense Force 2017 (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/ ... lt;title;1)

So EDF2017 is ridiculous. It's like an oldschool two player over the top shooting game where giant aliens invade your city. It's corny but it's super fun, especially on co-op. It's really rare though, but one of those crazy games that is fun if you like simple, arcadey fun games.

A month of Xbox Live Gold for $1 and apparently there are some reports that state it is stackable. Just make sure to use a pre-paid credit card so they can't pull the automatic billing crap when it expires.
