Civilization 5 announced

Coming out Fall of this year.

It's like every gaming series I've ever played has had something new announced this week. Could 2010 be another gold year of gaming akin to 1998? God I hope so.

Civilization is a good series of games, but why are they still using Sid Meier's name when he only designed the first game? If his name was mentioned to console gamers most of them would go "Who?" so that just makes me wonder.

I hate the Civ games except the console releases, the PC ones do not interest me, the one that came out for 360 recently off XBox Live Arcade was pretty fun.
