Yeah, I can see that pissing someone off.
Just remember though, aside from time spent
playing, there are no real life rammifications (sp?)
to the game. Sure you can get mad, but what does
it accomplish? You get pissed at some cheater getting
his jollies by standby'ing everyone to death, and it
accomplishes nothing. Put down the console and go
do something else if it puts you off so much. Because
no amount of being pissed is gonna make people stop
cheating. Ever.

(And I don't get mad when I lose a song at DDR/ITG)

well see i get frustrated when i cant pass a song that ive been workin at for a long time then the last note comes up and i hit it odd and fail because of it... that made me mad but other than that no i dont get mad either...

and yea if you get mad about cheaters it doesnt solve anything... but it doesnt solve anything if you get sad over someone dieing either... its called emotions buddy... people have em

no i think i understood you perfectly... i know that its just a game.. but i have hours spent in trying to grow my rank (which i know in the real world it doesnt matter) and i did a decent job at it... untill i got cheated out of roughly 4 hours of playing... because of some cheater

thats what i was getting at there....

yes there are real life rammifications (sp?). Mine were I didn't get to travel half way around the country.

Aww...that is why you need to learn to secondary standby...of course you can't kill people there either. It's too bad my clan is already starting to level boost. I call my friend and his sub-clan and we boost the night away...

Cheating for personal gain is wrong. Agreed
Cheating for fun when nothing matters. Arguable
Cheating by yourself on a game single player... ok pretty much cause no one else is affected.

I'm assuming they are top players. Again, I'll bring about SOCOMII and even Counterstrike.

On SocomII I played in a couple games with 3-4 admirals on the other team(Admirals=top10players on SOCOMII), and I got tied for MVP of one of the games, the other game I still had a 12-4 kill/death ratio. I didn't cheat. CS, I wasn't too good but I still didn't hack when I played with Cal-IM guys and tourney players.
Maybe if you took the time to get good at halo2, you might actually be able to beat some people, legit.

I still hold to the fact that if you hack/cheat/glitch, you aren't good at the game.

true it is bull but some of the best just try glitches to see if there are any they can find and show off and that other person is right if ur just screwing around who cares but that crap is so hard in match making un less peple are dumb and watching u glitch then its bull
