Well, sadly it's always these boycott/protest happy organizations that don't examine all the facts and act retarded.

The thing is, I don't think they're acting.

Ok, now that the PC version is finally out I'll consider getting it. One major problem though! This game is using SecuROM and they even decided to use that bullshit on the Steam version so as far as I am concerned until they release a NON-DRM version I have decided to recommend that people TORRENT the game cause they shouldn't get a single dime until they remove that stupid piece of garbage!

The only reason I've started buying PC games again is because of Steam, simply because I find it to be a well-made system with a DRM system that makes sense and that I'm happy to live with.

Unfortunately Rockstar decided to take a good thing and destroy at, and Valve apparently lost their balls in the process.

Bah.

In all honesty, though, I wasn't planning on picking up GTA4, but knowing that they put SecuROM on it makes me want it even less.

Speaking about SecuROM, I had more fun reading about whole Spore SecuROM debacle than I did actually playing the game, but this is the wrong thread for that.

Yea, I just made that statement briefly as I figure I should be honestly on this one. Also, I should mention that any game that uses SecuROM for it's boxed version will also usually have it on Steam as well. I was going to go Steam for it until I found this out the hard way when I heard horror stories with it screwing up on Bioshock.
