LOL I was at easside putt putt yesterday and I want to say that I discovered my new game. nfs gt is an awsome racing game with nothing fancy like initial d with its cards and upgrades and what not, but I really liked it alot. It can get real intense playing it lol. I think im going to start playing it alot inbetween ddr now. Ask gatekeeper we raced like 5 times in a row and it is fuuuun.

I thought the cars felt a little too 'glued' to the road, but I liked it.

This game makes me cry :(

I liked it at first too though, but in general, this is the worst racing game I've ever played.

Rationale? What specifically about it don't you like? Like I said earlier, the cars seem to have unrealistic grip to me, but that's just IMHO... your opinion?

Well, here are a few of the main reasons I don't like the game:

Shifting Mechanism (I hate the "shift up/shift down" style, why not just but a stick there?)
The races are extremely short
The way the game handles shortcuts + the minimap
The shortcuts are either very randomly placed, or very poorly placed, I can't decide witch
On every other non-card game racer, you get to play again if you win...not here
The lack of pornography (though true in most racing games) is very disappointing

Thats about all I can think of off the top of my head.

Them actually trying to make a game BETTER than the original NFSIII was just a poor decision on their part. NFSIII for PC is my favorite racing game ever. If you haven't gotten into the open ended modding aspect of it yet, I suggest you should. Back in the day I would spend hours to make the perfect cars... some of them turned out chaotic- for example I would toy around with the gas off properties so that the car would increase 0-200+ in a matter of seconds. The bad thing is you had no control, so I scrapped that one. Other than that it was pure fun. I picked up a few of the other PC titles, such as high stakes, but I didnt like them as much. I ended up ruining the AI on the mclarens so that they flew up into the air and exploded, and my car always broke down with 100% damage. NFS Porsche unleashed was a complete POS. Stay away from it.
If you want to mod nfs3 cars, I would suggest you download VIVwiz and FCEdit(I think it was called that). This will get you started and you wont stop playing... ever.
ahh... I love it.
I really dont like many of the recent titles that much. Underground was fun, but 2 has wayyyy to much product placement. I haven't touched that one in a while. sorry for the long post.

Or you could get nfs underground 2 and have over 70 billion combinations of parts.

Ah yes because all those engine, transmission, suspension, tires, brakes, and turbo upgrades just scream rice  . While the game may promote flashy cars, some people like that. The point of the game is be fast, and stand out. If you're into sleeper cars you arent gonna like it. Be alittle more intelligent and say that instead of a 5 word reply.

ANYWAYS, I didnt know there was a NFS game for arcades. Sounds kinda bad thus far because I really liked the customizing cars in NFSU/2. I'll have to head that way sometime and check it out though.

I as of now have every high score for the track Calypso Coast, With a best time of an unbeatable 2:57 seconds. LOl yes taqa, the race times are incredibly short.
