Dreamcast Halp

Post by Fluffyumpkins » Mon Jan 08, 2007 5:45 pm

So, I just got a Dreamcast. I plan on downloading pretty much any good games.

Now, suggest good games.

I like fighters, shmups, music games, and anything that had that 'old school' feel. I also like long walks and mashed potatoes.

The original Soul Calibur was amazing.

House of the Dead (if you can get the guns), Power Stone (great multiplayer fighting), Chu Chu Rocket (right up your alley)...

...and last but not least, Samba de Amigo.

That'll be the hardest to come by, but get the maracca controllers and do the cha-cha.

MARVEL VS CAPCOM 1.
Why? Because you can play as freakin' Onslaught, and if you want, against two other friends. Completely unfair, but fun. Plus 4-player variable cross mode is fun too.

And get Typing of the Dead. AMAZING game. Keyboard adaptors are still floating around the internet.

Other games to get: Space Channel 5, SC5-2 (with Space Michael, bwahahaha), Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (includes both versions of the arcade game, although it's different from the PS-X version which was more of a 1.5), Ikaruga, Jet Set Radio, Project Justice (GREAT game), Twinkle Star Sprites (best as a VS game), Super Puzzle Fighter II (the different modes make it all worth it...and it's not glitchy like the GBA version)...and stuff.

Another interesting shmup, Bangai-O. Gunbird series aren't bad either.

You know, there is a PS2 version of Rez...
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.
