But damn...that imagry was spot on. Fuckin' awesome.
I was very impressed with the camera work. It seriously reminded me of the crazy in-game camera.
SPOT-ON camerawork. especially in the alleyway at the beginning.

It was indeed a very good adaptation. Definitely the best video game film ever. A few problems here and there, but nothing that hurts the film very much. LOVED the ending.

Gotta see it again.
I got my propaganda, I got revisionism.
I got my violence in high-def ultra-realism.
All a part of this great nation.

Haha. At first I was kinda like "What..." about the ending. But after I got home, I kinda thought about it for a bit, and it really just hit me like a sack of bricks.

Way cool.

i like how the ending opened up along w/ the game series, although i wonder how the little girl will tie in and what the story will be...it's like they wanted 100% resolution by their ending and then 10% uncertainty just incase it was popular enough for a sequel

Thoroughly enjoyed.

Along with the rest of the movie (of course), I really enjoyed seeing the nurses. I mean, in SH2, I can see that they're nurses, but as it's my first time playing through it, I'm on beginner. And I'm not afraid of them...they're more of a nuisence than anything.

Really enjoyed them in the movie, though. I love the way they twitched and moved.

Question, though... In the game, if you turn your light off, can you just slip past them? Just out of curiosity...
No more eggs! :D
An actual signature will come soon, I suppose.

I never played the games. I fell asleep during some of the movie. It was boring. Nothing really happened. The end. :(

You can pretty much do that with any monster, just as long as:

A) They don't see you before you switch the light off

and

B) They don't hear you.

I mean, they may be zombies (or are they?), but they're not stupid.

But since you're on wuss...err beginner mode, you really don't have to worry about things like "rationing ammo", so it's easier to just blow the hell out of them.

Depends on the game, too. In the original, even if you have the light off, shit will still gang rape you...primarily towards the end of the game. But turning off the light helps a little.
In Silent Hill 2, you can slip past most of the enemies pretty easily even with the light on. They'll see you, but they're pretty easy to get away from.
With the light off? Dunno...never tried it in SH2. I just beat shit up with the nail plank.

Yeeeeeeah, me too. They're like "omg, use ur gun lolololol!!!1~!!" and then I'm like "lol no!~" and then I go hit it with the stick.

My handgun isn't accurate enough, and I feel like saving my shotgun for something happy. =D And the rifle...well, I don't have enough ammo for that to fuck around and kill nurses with it. n_x

Well, all of your guns aren't going to be very accurate. I mean, after all, you are just a normal person with little or no weapons training.

Also, with the HG, you just have to let them get reeeeeal close, and then unload.

I watched it in a room with four other guys. Every single one of us fell asleep at some point during the movie. What a snooze job.

I did like the tenticle porn scene at the end though.

You'll want to save the shotgun till you get towards the end, at the hotel namely...there are some enemies in there that are VERY difficult to take down in melee. Shotgun works well, though.
As for the rifle? Save it for the end. It'll come in handy.
