I heard it's pretty good, is it better than Let's Count Sand though? 'Cause that was a pretty bitching game.

Y'know, I've seen those commercials, and those are the kind of games I'd probably rent. A quirky premise that would be stupid when viewed basically could be transformed into a pretty fun game in the right hands.

Let's Count Sand could be a good example. Suppose you control a small sand counting robot, which is able to scan the ground and count the sand as it moves. You're sent back in time to the beach to accumulate sand for your robot kingdom in the future... because robots of the future run on sand or something. Giant hourglasses inside them or something. Anyway, it could be arranged so that going in certain lines to count sand led to score multipliers, chain reactions that would change the terrain, and obstacles appearing in your path which must be circumvented or manipulated in order to continue. Throw in some Shadow of the Colossus-style bosses like lifeguards, surfers, or beach bums and I'm hooked.

I would totally play that game. Counting sand would never be more fun. But instead of Let's Count Sand, we get a new World War II console FPS which is TOTALLY not like any of the other countless war-centric FPS games... damn you world of game design. >_<

:( I miss Harvest moon.... they were going to make it into an MMORPG (look up harvest moon online on google)

but if you're talking about games with simple premises that can actually be fun, think about pacman: you move around a maze and eat little white dots, frogger: you cross a road, Space invaders: you shoot at little blobs moving back and forth, Asteroids: shoot at blobs moving in two space, Katamari Damacy: just amazing...
