I remember playing this on the old Apple ][e way back in elementary school. Everyone always died before I got there though. I had no patience for oxen and wagons.

I remember playing at school in elementary, too! XD But, unless forced to, I'd usually skip Oregon Trail and play Dino Park Tycoon instead.

you grew up in a privleged school :( back in my days living in east cleveland (well it was a little east of east cleveland, I didn't live in the ghetto) but we didn't have fancy computers... all we had were the green screen macintoshes. AND WE LIKED THEM. This brought back so many horrifying memories... like when I first found out what dysentary was.
