Technika is basically a ReRave knockoff.

Technika ripped off ReRave's hubcaps.

Technika Q came out on October 13th for the Korean versions of App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) and on iOS, they did a good job on it. However, all signs point to this not getting an international release due to how Neowiz has a reputation for ethnocentrism. I know plenty of people who would probably buy the complete box (Contains all 11 song packs, 4 songs only available in that set, and an exclusive skin) the first day the game would be available which would net them $45-$60 each person so they are only hurting themselves since getting international listings is not a costly venture. Also, jailbroken iOS devices will not work properly with the game as once again, they have put in jailbreak detection.

To be fair there are a shit load of games that don't see an international release. All Bemani outside of one shitty version of Beet, DDR, and one really bad Pop'n release have been Japan only but you and everyone else here already knows that and I'm just wasting my precious time making a post. I like to post for the sake of posting.

I wonder where we would all be if Beet ever took off in the US.

Honestly, I'm glad Beet never took off as it allowed me to move on to better things in 2009 and 2010.

Yea, about that. How long did it take you to find and hold down a steady job after college?

Roughly 9 months:

Graduated in May, didn't get a 35k job offer until November for January 1st, 2010
Fired from said job in January 2011, got a part-time $15/hr job in February 2011, collected unemployment on the side since I was still eligible for it
Got offered a new full-time 35k job in January of 2012 the day after I was told I was being laid off from my part-time job
Got a few promotions and now I'm sitting at $42.5k but most importantly I learned a bunch of practical networking and telephony shit

There are people who are self-employed who are smarter and richer than I will ever be (MonMotha)
There are people who have worked their jobs for over a decade who will always make more than me (Ho)
There are people who have a higher education who make less than me (Riot)
There are people who work less hours and know less shit that make more than me (Fluffy)
There are people who have totally inapplicable to the real world degrees who make a lot more than me (TaQa)
There are people who decide to stay in secondary education for nearly a decade who will come out of college making more than me (SDP, V)
There are people who think that not being able to hold a job outside of college should be a source of shame despite them being a professional for less than a year (Amp)

I guess my point is that we all choose different paths in life and there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances that cause little bumps in the road! Let's celebrate our successes and support each other in our failures.
