Guitar Hero arcade... Proof that there is no god!

Ok, rumors of this were posted up back last month, but it seems that this may be the real thing due to BMS receiving information from a reliable source. The source stated that the cabinet will be revealed this Tuesday at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions exhibit in Orlando, Florida. Also, the cabinet will be done by KONAMI's revived arcade division!

At this point in time I figure I have nothing to lose anymore so I may as well state how I really feel about this matter. Beatmania got buried by Konami in 2006 and will never see another US release in any form, Pop'N just recently got buried with that godawful 360 crap whose name I won't mention, Street Fighter 4 won't get an arcade release in the US, Cave shmups will never see the light of day domestically (Oh, 5pb can eat a dick for region coding the 360 ports!) and yet they'll release this shit? I don't care how popular it is, this is complete bullshit!

Umm....it has been for a while now, (we at the GXS have looked into ordering it SEVERAL times) the problem is they aren't selling well cause the kits costs a lot and on top of that they are trying to push it off to only work on HD lcd monitors, It apparently still works on CRTs but still, to get the feel of things it looks A LOT better on an hd monitor.

Hey Jeremy, do you know if Daniel plans on getting one of these when they hit arcades in February? I know I may be the only one on this forum who would be interested (OMG MUSIK GAMEZ NOT FROM JAPAN SUCKKKK), but I think it would be successful. Also, having a machine like this available for the next DDR-A-Thon would be incredibly helpful I think....

Unofficially, he is thinking about it, he is not sure though cause the ad says there is only 50 songs on it....which seems kinda disappointing for a song list...we are not sure yet what he plans on doing, all I know is he is looking into it possibly
