Glad you think so. That's what I told you to buy between that and GH right?

You said that the guitar is too easy, the singing is damn hard, but the drumming is fun. Didn't really say which one you'd rather have though.

This just makes me want to try to play a song on Rockband's Guitar and mic.... while playing the same song on Stepmania....

I bought Rock Band the day it came out for the Wii, which was... yesterday.
I don't know that they're going to sell very many Wii versions, since it seems very similar to the PS2 version (no online ANYTHING), and pretty much everyone that wants it already has it for a different system. But, I managed to hold out for the Wii version, and I have to say it's great fun. AND there are 5 exclusive tracks, which is kind of cool. They seem to have fixed any equipment problems, since the peripherals all work just fine. My only real complaint is that I can't use my Wii GH3 guitar to complete the band :(

What are the 5 exclusive tracks?
And, that sucks about the GH3 guitar, it works fine on 360 and I think PS3 too.

* "Dirty Little Secret" - The All-American Rejects
* "Don't Look Back in Anger" - Oasis
* "Roam" - The B-52's
* "Rockaway Beach" - The Ramones
* "Roxanne" - The Police

All of them are relatively easy songs, but I like having Roxanne in there at least.

Oh.
Those aren't "exclusive" per se, 360 users just have to pay to get them as DLC.

How does it connect to the Wii? via USB?

Yes, it comes with a 4-to-1 adapter that plugs into a USB port. The drums and mike are wired, and the guitar is wireless and requires separate batteries. I'm assuming that the difference in the way the controllers connect is the reason that it's incompatible with the GH3 guitar.

I'm not too surprised that they did that since it makes life easier all around for them on development.
