Yet another reason I haven't bought a new laptop in a while.Pheonixguy wrote:Mines newer... so there is none!Arka wrote:That's why you use the little touchstick, Pheonix!
Luckly i have a mouse, but im too lazy to use it.
Care to elaborate? I actually liked the little I played of it, but I tend to appreciate very abstract games. Remember Harmony by Accolade? Yeah.Riot wrote:It's not a very good setup for a music game in my opinion.
You don't do anything to keep a beat in this game. Most games have some form of tapping a button or physically pushing something to keep a beat. In this you can just keep your mouse in the same spot if there's a stream of 5 notes in the same area and just scoop them all up and not push anything in time. Mouses are just bad for music games in my opinion; they're finnicky.
Hmm. What you say makes a lot of sense coming from the Bemani background. I suppose I like it regardless because I associate it with the circular versions of Tetris, Pong and BlockOut rather than with Pop'N, etc.
Of course, you could click the mouse every time you intercept a bar... but yes, I know, the player should not have to invent ways to cope with the game's shortcomings.
Edit: quit yer misinterpretin'. Edited for clarity.

You have to use the z x and c keys to make your bar in other places as well as the normal one... and thats like the only time its used.letshavetea wrote:I found it interesting.... but wtf was that blue note in the song for lvl 5 difficulty?.... I started out on 6 on accident trying to change it.. but.. I dunno this game is weird... but I had fun with it and even passed the link to some other people... so yea
Its something new
Edit: Apparently there are like 4 more songs that were just added... so what i just said might not be true anymore.
