All right here is the deal. I have been taking about this for a couple of days now but i want to know evry ones opinion now. So please be serious about the voting. Kepp in mind this is just a POSSIBILITY, so do not hold me to this one. From what i have heard the owner and manager want to put in a 2nd machine at PP. I dont know where they will put it if they get it so dont ask. Here is what they are debating on.

1.) Getting a brand new ITG2 cabinet and turning the current one back into extreme.

2.) Getting barnd new PIU exceed 2 cabinet.

I personaly told them either way will bring in $$$ but i want to see PIU up north now. But if i get the opinions from you guys that might help on the matter. Please rember this is just talk right now and i dont know when or if this will happen but every voice will be appriciated.

The only Extreme machine in Fort wayne right now is at Tokens and Tickets. There are 3 ITG2 machines within a 4 mile radius.

One problem though.... Fast track slips like hell and has a horrible discoloration in the top left (ok I'm exaggerating the discoloration but I don't give a damn), and wayne rec just plain sucks. PP is the best of all 3.... but the pads right now are not perfect. They're not bad, but they do give occasional pad misses.

If they were to get an ITG2 ded cab, it would be the best machine within god knows the radius, and plus they would have extreme there too.... and I would definately play both much . One of the few reasons I'll leave putt putt is to go to TnT to play Extreme. If they are both in the same building (and replaces the skiball machine) There will be oodles of fun.... that's right... oodles.

PIU would be awesome too, I'd love to play it, but my only reason why I'd prefer an ITG2 ded, is because I would like the accessibility of two different play styles in one arcade. Not to mention it would be the only arcade in and around fort wayne to have two dancing games in one arcade.

then again PIU would make it that too but that's not the point...


If you got PIU I'd wet myself, if you got ITG2 I'd wet myself... maybe a little more, but not much more. I lean more towards ITG2, but that's partially because I'm afraid of PIU, but it's not my decision in the end

id love for there to be another Extreme in the Fort... so id go with that... sooner or later CeCs will get one...why the hell idk but still i like the atmosphere at PP better than TnT aside from the glare and a DC would most definitly bring in moolah so either way id be happy just id be happier with the DC and Extreme in the same room

Seeing a Pump would be neat, because you're right, it would be the only one up north.

Seeing an ITG 2 cabinent would be neat, because then we'd have Extreme back.

Pump confuses the everliving shit out of me.

DDR practically gives me seizures every time I play it now.

Although I would prefer to have Extreme back over having Pump, most personally. If you get PIU, will you be keeping ITG 2, then? That makes me a sad panda. I want to play annoying J-Pop songs in a surrounding that doesn't annoy me all by itself! =D I miss Extreme. For some reason, I didn't play it all to hell before they ITG'd it.


Once again, indifference...in favor of Extreme.

Potter, given the fact that you have trouble getting consistent rides to Castleton, I don't see how any of this business in Ft. Wayne is any of your concern. You hate Pump. We know that. Move on. -_-

Obviously, my vote would be for Pump, given that you don't have it at all up there and there already seems to be multiple ITG machines all within a relatively small area. It would be great to see some more players that we could add to the growing Indiana Pump community. It would make the next tournament just that much more fun.

Of course there are plenty of people who are down on or unsure about Pump. For many of them, it's the simple fact that it's not DDR. For me, that's the reason I like it so much. It's more of a change from DDR than ITG is. It's variety, and I appreciate that. It doesn't mean I love DDR any less.

One other thing I should mention is that an ITG2 cabinet brand new costs almost 70% more than a PIU Exceed 2. I don't know if that matters to the powers that be, but it's certainly something to consider.

You should lay down the viable options to the manager, objectively.

Regardless if people hate Pump or not, they should consider the cost of ITG2. Yes, it is much sweeter in it's dedicated cabinet, it is more popular than Pump, but unless people will consistantly whore the shi+ out of ITG2 for the years to come so the owners can squeeze every penny from it, you might as well just get an X2 machine. Saves a few thousand bucks (which I dunno about you guys, but a few thousand is a lot of money for stores), and if there is no big consistant fanbase, then the owners would rather go with the cheaper option.

DDR 5th Mix is the reason I go to the Fort.. that and Beatmania and ITG sometime.

I wanna try keyboard mania too... Guitar Freaks is awesome...
