Who saw that coming? The venue wasn't bad at all. I could easily get passed the obnoxious kids, but I couldn't get passed the shitty pizza entry fee.
Apparently it is closed for 3-4 weeks. It has been bought by Incredible Pizza Company. No idea what will happen to PIU.

Hopefully Incredible Pizza will fix the place a little bit and make it a bit less sucky.

Dude indyDDR needs to open its own arcade. We can call it "Indianapolis Dance Dance Revolution punto Commercial"
Or hell we can just call it "indyDDR" because that's a pretty neat name for a music game arcade plus it will give us brand name recognition in the future.
Who wants to take a ride with me on this business venture? Let's penetrate this motherfucking market boys!

I actually considered such an idea several years back. The business end of it was just more than I wanted to take on. Also, I think the prime time to capture a music game market has passed at this point. Good luck to whomever is brave enough to give it a go though.

Are you a bad enough dude to open an arcade?

Yeah you would make no money unless you were in either Texas, California, or NYC.
I mean really you could just keep your operating costs low, we already have the cabinets, and we could write this shit off on our taxes. This venture would be a secondary form of income because honestly if I tried to make a living off of this venture I would be bankrupt in probably a year or five.
How is Daniel Hughes' business going by the way? Anyone know?

In.
We can obtain ITG2 from that one arcade that has 3 of them.

Bad Dudes Reference! I'm going to make a controversial decision and consider that to be 2 drinks on the IndyDDR drinking game.
Also, this news is not too surprising.

What's the status on this location? Incredible Pizza bought this location, right?
Anyone know if the Extreme machine is still there? I'm DYING to play some extreme again.

I was driving on I65 the other day, and happened to notice the sign taken down. It isn't exactly new news, but America’s Incredible Pizza Co. is gone.

What does this mean for you, the enterprising arcade starter-upper? Avoid obviously dangerous, less affluent, decaying venues.

They just had a Groupon or LivingSocial (it probably means something that I usually don't know which and it's also often both) deal a few less than a month ago.
EDIT: I guess it was LivingSocial.

It looks like 196 people are going to be disappointed. I actually thought about getting the deal just to go over there and see if/how it had changed.
