I don't think I'm eligible for a new one yet since I got this phone in May right before I graduated. Besides there isn't a full-fledged Verizon store in Circle Center it's just some shitty Kiosk.

Everyone is telling me to get into all this Android / BlackBerry / iPhone nonsense but in all honesty I love my flip phone. I really don't want to be that connected and give work the ability to reach me anywhere at anytime. Sometimes it's good to be cut off from the internet and e-mail.

I just heard a story on the TV news that said the Circle Centre GameWorks was bought by Tilt and will be reopening as "GameWorks" at first but will change at some point. And y'know...if you hear it on TV, IT MUST BE TRUE! Only the Internet is a more reliable source. :P

As many of you may or may not know GAMEOWRKS in the Circle Center Mall is no more… but don’t disperse in the 4th quarter a new Player stepped up to the plate names Nickels and Dimes and BOOM the location was reopened just 3 weeks after GameWorks closed its doors. What this means for us the player, you may ask. This means a whole new philosophy on games and the people that play them. The location now known as TILT Studios, arcade and family fun center has added over 60 new games including 2 brand spanking new air hokey tables and the coolest console cabinets ever, featuring Street fighter IV, Soul Caliber IV and another Tekken 6 but the console version, as well as a full redemption center. They have also lowered the price on nearly all its games. Were GameWorks pricing started at $1.00 and went up TiLT’s pricing starts at just 25 cents.

As a welcome back gift to all the true hardcore players They have cut the price of all the DDR’s, Initial D,3 twin, Max tune and all The fighting games in half.

That’s right all the hard core gamer’s favorites for ½ price from now till the end of June.

Remember they do accept GameWorks cards purchased at the circle center location so you have not lost those credits they will just last longer now.

10 buck Tuesday and ½ price Thursday are still in effect as well. So come out and se all the new hotness TiLT has to offer.

Hail to the King!!!

Welcome!

I will be interested to check things out. I did stop in a few weeks ago and noticed that it had reopened but that none of the branding had changed yet. I'll make a point to stop back by sometime in the near future.

I have been going to that location since it opened as Sega City well over a decade ago (wow, I think it's been close to 15 years at this point!). I frequented it for many years, but I have rarely visited in the past several mostly due to a lack of regular crowds and the poor operating condition of many of the machines. I look forward to and wish the best of luck to the new ownership's endeavors to turn both of these around.

Thanks for the notice!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. This sounds good. I'm excited for a closer arcade opportunity to play Street Fighter 4 (and hope you guys can manage to upgrade to Super Street Fighter 4 when it comes out!). I'm sure there will be a big fighting community turn out from shoryuken.com if you can organize events and continue to offer good deals on your games. Hopefully the new owners have their heads on straight and don't charge exorbitant amounts for DDR and stuff like Gameworks always does. Looking forward to checking it out soon and playing some SF4 =)

Erm isn't SSF4 arcade... like... not even out yet? Or are you just talking about upgrading when it comes out later this year? From what the shoryuken.com people are saying, it's a pretty nice cabinet. I look forward to coming in and checking it out sometime. Maybe after my honeymoon I can leave my wife and go on a double date with Merk and Chad and come street fight.

I would like to accompany you Chadmayne come late June. I so yearn to street fight.

And from what I hear from shoryuken.com, it's a sanwa cab running the 360 version of SSF4 on a nice screen. Soooo basically it sounds yummy. Hope to check it out soon.
