I talked to my boss tonight about the Dedicab there. He said it will be hard to convince them to trade, because we will have to get Shaffer Distributing Co. to hire at least two guys to move the games. Which requires money.

Also we'll have to convince them that DDR will make them <= the current money they're getting from it.

I just got an email back from the owner of Bouncertown confirming that they have ITG2. That was nice and slow. Haha. Go Mike!

But I sent a response explaining everything and how I think it would better both of us if we switched. I hope he likes the idea. :?

As long as I can convince him he will make more money from it it's a done deal.

I went there today and...*ahem*...got thrown out.

I was driving in the Greenwood area today (dropping brother off for Driver's Ed, how ironic) when I remembered this place was in Greenwood. Luckily it was <2 miles from the driving school, so I figured I' drop by and check the old machine out.

As I got inside, the size of those inflat-a-slides are bigger than expected. They were like 40 feet tall. Anyways, the lady at the desk gives me this really weird look. After all, when I don't shave I guess I could pass for a pedophile.

I ask if they "have DDR," so as not to make them think it's popular there all of a sudden. They said they did, and pointed somewhere in the back (behind the massive slides). As I stepped into the play area, and grabbed me by the shoulder.

"Hey! We can't let you in here unless you have a young kid with you! I'm sorry. It's policy."

Ironic that the only way to prevent a pedophile from getting in is if he already has abducted a kid.

So, I didn't even see the machine. Couldn't hear it. Couldn't smell it either (as usual).

To make a long story short, I didn't play, tl;dr.

Fun fact: only 3 posts at IndyDDR.com contain the word "boop."

Wow, the irony of this entire situation just continues to grow...

Although this does make Shannon the only ITG player I know that could actually legitimately go there to play.

My point exactly, i.e. it's not that bad/unusual to pay $1 for 3 songs.

Well it sucks if you're used to 4 songs for 75 cents, aka Laser Flash.

I'm actually used to 4 songs for 20c (DDR) or 3 songs for 40c (ITG), aka Putt Putt WITH saver's club.
