That is considered a "Push" and no one wins! Yay you get your money back!

In sports they tend to add half a point to prevent ties from occurring, for example:

Here is a point spread line from a NCAA Men's Basketball game tonight. In a point spread, you take the team's *actual* score and subtract whatever number the bookie sets for the point spread, in this case 3.5 points. In order for money on Temple to win they would need to win their game tonight by 4 or more points to cover the spread - winning by 3 points exactly will mean that Temple "loses" by half of a point in the eyes of a bookie.

They do the same things for over/unders as well. An over/under bet in sports, which is referenced so frequently here, is a bet on the total number of points scored in a game by both teams. For example, in a basketball game hey will set a line at like 131.5 points so there will be a clear cut winner and no opportunity for a push.

Oh yeahhhhhh.... Yeah IU is good this year and I'm excited for Big 10 play! Sorry, I didn't think you'd follow NCAAM but I suppose if you're in Bloomington it's hard to walk around this year without seeing or overhearing someone talk about our fancy schmany #1 status.

I'm positive come March Madness we're not going to be #1 though. We're going to drop a game to some random cupcake team like we did last year to Minnesota. That Georgetown game earlier this year definitely made me sweat a little bit and left me unconvinced that the team got over their weird tendency to just play like shit in easy games. Oladipo has gotten about a billion times better from last year though and we're really just a solid team.

As you all probably know, Great X Scape will be closing its doors in just a few months. As a small token, we will be putting together a community photobook to present to Daniel at the Great X-Scape farewell.

https://www.facebook.com/events/315935515186961/

As you can imagine, we’ll need some content from everyone to include. We already have a large photo bank from events like DDR-A-Thon and tournaments, but there were probably photos taken from day to day that we’d love to include.

Here is what I need from anyone that wants to participate:

• Pictures (originals, not crappy Facebook versions)
• Stories and memories about the arcade
• Yearbook style messages for Daniel (these can be typed, or handwritten and scanned)
• Anything else that can be printed on a page

Please take some time this holiday break to share some kind words to Daniel. He’s done a lot for the community over the years, and I think something like this would mean a lot to him.

Looks like I'm going to have to drop this project. I didn't get much in the way of responses, and don't really have the time to put it together and have it shipped by next week. Sorry guys.

Wh.... What are we going to do? We have to do *something*!!

I don't own a camera so all I could possibly give is crappy Facebook photos and that was clearly defined as a big nono.

The entire business was sold as basically one piece to a summer camp in Alabama. Apparently they will even use the same name (or at least they'll have the sign to do so should they choose). All the games were sold as part of this transaction.

You may still be able to get the dance games if you want as apparently the camp didn't really want them. Be prepared to pay well above market value. They are in very good shape, but I'm not sure if that can justify the apparent asking prices.

I believe it was Louisiana, not Alabama.
