As another DDR/ITG/PIU commuter, I can remark that I generally spend more on gas than I do on tokens - despite the fact that my car gets ~35 MPG on average and a typical DDR/ITG/PIU session lasts from three to five hours. Of course, not all of that is arcade-directed: I love driving for driving's sake, and I try to spend plenty of quality time alone with my car.
Considering the current price of gas, I really need to find a less expensive hobby, like burning money.
