unlimited stamina

Post by Glarthob » Fri Apr 24, 2009 9:26 pm

Yeah, I've only met a few of you from the indy crowd, but I figure SOME of my scores have to be a little impressive.

My FA is only decent, I've got at least a 99 on every 9 blocker of ITG.
And a 98 on every 10 except for Sweet World.

Since the hacking of our stardust machine, I really don't play officials too much anymore, unless you consider rebirth official charts.

This first one is reaF. It's very enjoyable to play, this is like my 3rd/4th pass. I want to bring the score up to a 90.
Image

Next, I played Boss on Parade for my first time, and got this. Definately improvable, I was already tired when I played it, and I did really bad on the stops even though they're really easy..
Image

First chromatic blitz pass. Gonna try to bring it upto 92? Idk.
Image

This was a custom 14, I'm thinking it was in one of Rynkers packs. Siteread.
Image

I finally passed Vertex two the other day also. Which means I've now completed every official chart. The score was rather low, and I probably won't be playing it again.
Image

This is my latest UB3R R4VE score, I want to get a 95 on it.
Image

And too show off my amazing FA, I got one of the highest scores possible on this song.

Who are you and why haven't you posted here more often?
I need more motivation to play.

Nice pass on chromatic blitz.
Seriously if you can pass that you should at least be able to star uber rave.
You should give Cartoon Heroes and Welcome to Rainbow a try too.

I play at Stardust in Noblesville now.

Thanks to DAVE101's help, we've hacked the machine. And stardust is within walking distance from my house, so there's no reason to go anywhere else.
I am planning on attending more tournaments in the future though. I showed up at GOMX but I did really bad >.>

I'm chris, my usertag is CDIS, and my DDR pseudonym is Glarthob.
And a star on Uber Rave might not be too difficult.. I'll try for it.
I'm not suer what cartoon heroes you're talking about.
But I realllyyyy hate Welcome to Rainbow, I'll post a picture on here once I full combo the hands..

I WAS gonna post more pictures today. But my flashdrive is messed up and I need to reformat it now..

I got a 95.08 on Boss on Parade, that was exciting.
and a 98.23 on Flash's Fer sure, I'm definately gonna tri-star this.
I also got a 99 on Ice Cold, hahaha.

Hm.. you seem about my skill level as far as harder stuff goes.
Except that you definitely have more stamina. :P

Anyways the cartoon heroes is the long version.
Here's a vid of Greg playing it, since it's his chart.

neat.

you and CBAV, as well at katy and mike should consider attending fort rapids 3. It'd be cool to meet you (joorz) and to play some itg with the three again :D

Also, I passed Holy Orders today, and I'm gonna go back tomorow and pass dokudenpa

vertex two takes a considerable amount of skill to score highly on.

As opposed to uber rave, which really only takes stamina.

I might be able to do better on vertex^2, but I really hate playing it.

I've been to both Fort Rapids tourneys and I plan on attending the 3rd. Also nice job passing Holy Orders.
God damn dude. This makes me want to play so badly. lol.
You really should work on FA more though, you can get some really sick scores if you spend a little time on working on your accuracy.
Where is this machine located? Also is it r21?

Coopers Stardust Bowl in Noblesville. It is cracked R23. By this I mean the executable is hacked so the song doesn't cut off at 135 seconds, instead it cuts off at 600 seconds (10 min) the give up time has been changed to 0.25 seconds instead of 2.5 seconds. There is a thread for it in the Locations board (noblesville just got some ITG).

EDIT: also, I have to check to confirm this, but the music wheel check for length and size have been removed. (Confirmed). Songs can be more than 5 megs and don't have to be ogg patched.

Wow. that's awesome. I have the cracked r23 patch but no machine to apply it to. I had it on our upgrade machine but it would lag like hell whenever there were custom bg vids.

You should also play this song.

So I got some new shoes today, uh FILA's or somthin. hahah

They are really light and flat, so they are good for dancing games. And I would have had very impressive scores today but I seem to have injured my leg, so I'm gonna try to take a week off from the game.

Summer Kamp, I thought the score was alright.
Image

ICe Cold, terrible score. I'll do way better when my leg is better
Image

and
Cartoon Heroes long version, I did this a few days ago. I can probably get a way higher score
Image

I was gonna bust out a really good uber rave score today, and I was doing really well with my new kicks, but my leg gave out during the run at the end, so I just stopped.

CDIS on the left, myself on the right. The song has 2900 steps over a span of six and a half minutes.
