the gattchoon. the scores.

Post by the gattchoon » Tue Jul 18, 2006 1:42 pm

Ok, since I haven't started one of these... I might as well, but I forget all my single scores (since I barely care, as long as I can pass them, haha), and since I don't play doubles heavy all the time (so much money... T_T), I think I can keep track of them... maybe. Or at least the ones that I think are nice enough to note. I'm probably going to forget I ever posted this, anyway. =P

Passed:
DDR
- Synchronized Love (A)
- Rhythm & Police
- Afronova (A)
- Jet World (A)

ITG
- Typical Tropical
- Bumble Bee

Jet World is freestyle worthy on heavy, but it's the only other doubles heavy song I remember playing, LOL. I forgot the grade on R&P, but I'll see to that again later... it might've been a C, so I'll be sure to change that to an A or B in the near future. =P

As for goals:
- Full combo Synchronized Love
- Full combo Afronova (which shouldn't be TOO hard, with the simple pattern and all... I only tried it once, so, yeah, pfft. =P)

I know that's not all I've done... just the ones I think are fun... in the sense of tripping all over the place. :lol: And since I barely ever play ITG... that one probably won't be updated much. ^^;

Freestyling on doubles is more exciting, so sometimes I have difficulty deciding if I want to play heavy or freestyle when I put in 2 credits worth.
=P

DD:Recall

*wink, wink*

I'd love another person to keep me motivated with some friendly challenges...and someone else for people to chuckle at me and say, "You got beat by a girl!"

Also, if you're looking for a fun Heavy Double, try Do You Remember Me. It's streamy, turny, crossover goodness!

Oh yeah yeah, I keep forgetting. ^^; Just like I keep forgetting to watch the vids here.

Crossovers are my second (or third? or whatever!) love! I'll keep that song in mind. =)

Nice job, gattchoon. I can't do Afronova or R&P on Heavy Doubles yet. Doubles is probably your best mode, considing you freestyle alot.

Wasn't Afronova really hard?

Thanks. =)

Rhythm & Police took me 2 tries (failed first time; almost passed it until the end, so tired! ...and then second time got away with it. =P)

As for Afronova... I remember only playing it once when it first came out on 3rd Mix, and that sucked (because I sucked! ...AHAHA, 12 years old... =P), and when I came back to it again (last weekend), it was easy. The only reason it's hard is because it's kind of fast, but the streams have really easy patterns, and I love crossovers and such now, so... phwee! <3

Quick question - what does Heavy map to on ITG? Hard or Expert?

Rhythm and Police doubles is really fun...I dunno about you.

Kiss Kiss Kiss has an amazing doubles chart. It's Raining Men has a unique doubles chart because it mimicks the turns that are done in the music video for the original It's Raining Men with the foot on the freeze arrow and the turning in circles with the other foot. There's a lot of songs with really good doubles charts that you just never see anybody play due to doubles being more expensive and less competitive than singles.
The internet is serious buisness, kids.

I think one of the coolest stepchart on doubles is Telephone Operator thats just me I like to freestyle it but thats just me.

On doubles on DDR I can get scores for them but its like my PA goes down and some times I don't feel like paying 10 tokens for it. I do have some good scores for it..really just 5 on holic and 6 on I was the one...thats about it.

ITG doubles randomly I'm better at thats just me plus its one credit lol.

Hmmm!! I brought a camera to remember! Got new scores; didn't really play double heavy today... too tired. But here are my single heavy scores today:

AA'ed:
- Twilight Zone (30 greats, 2 goods) >> 9 footer
- Jet World (44 greats, 1 good) >> 8 footer
- Spin the Disc (12 greats, 1 good) >> 8 footer
- AM-3P (15 greats) >> 8 footer
- Dead End (51 greats) >> 9 footer
- Jam Jam Reggae (13 greats) >> 8 footer
- La Copa de la Vida (21 greats) >> 7 footer
- Freckles (4 greats) >> 7 footer
- Groove (18 greats) >> 8 footer
- Paranoia KCET ~clean mix~ (44 greats) >> 9 footer
- Butterfly (11 greats) >> 5 footer
- Matsuri Japan (48 greats) >> 9 footer
- DXY! (40 greats) >> 8 footer
- Make It Better (11 greats) >> 7 footer
- Get Up 'N' Move (17 greats) >> 8 footer
- Silent Hill (17 greats, 1 good) >> 7 footer
- Paranoia Rebirth (43 greats, 1 good) >> 9 footer
- Super Star (17 greats) >> 8 footer
- Share My Love (29 greats) >> 7 footer

Also got 92.53% (S) on Ride The Bass [Hard] on ITG.

MASSIVE GREATS!! ...on the 9 footers, usually... haha, so yeah, I now have a DD:Recall account; find me. Yeah, yeah, that's what got me aiming to AA some songs, because of BeastieBoys4Life's challenge. Pfft. =P

Goal? AA more songs... more 9 footers, really. XD!!

Ok, I am officially super super tired today. Hopefully tomorrow I can get up for the Megaplay tournament. ^^;

That could possibly be the most detailed score breakdown anyone has ever posted on the brag board, lol. Only thing you could've possibly added was links to the pictures...but that would've taken forever. Nice Freckles score! ...blows mine out of the water :). So, yeah, add me on DD:Recall (because I only sign in when I add scores), I'm dance1005.

I know, I'm too lazy to upload the pictures on to Photobucket and link them on DD:Recall... but I'll do it someday. =P

Anyway, didn't play much casual rounds; mostly for fun, but single heavy:

AA'ed:
- think ya better D (15 greats) >> 5 footer
- ♥LOVE2 シュガ→♥ (32 greats) >> 7 footer

A'ed:
- Rhythm & Police (71 greats) >> 9 footer

Not too particularly proud of my R&P score, with 71 greats, but at least I FC'ed it. I'll change that next time I go to Megaplay. =P

Don't worry about it, my first R&P FC was 75 greats, and the next time I seriously tried it, I got like 30 something I think.
