What RedOctane pad did you play on? The new Ignition series pads are good quality and will last a long time. If it is a dense foam pad, it will hold up to the abuse very well. Who cares if it might last half as long as a CF? It costs a third as much as a CF. So if it DOES break and it has to be replaced, you still win.

You heard wrong. They may do you okay for lik 4-footers and stuff that you're playing, but when you get >=decent, it will break.
I GUARANTEE IT!
Ha! Ive had a redoctane pad for about half a year and played 10 footers and it still works perfectly!
You will be baked

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA(insert like 5000 more HAs here)HAHAHAHAHAAAAA
I'm sorry, but that statement is complete and utter bullshit. Two links:
http://www.indyddr.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1484 (Note that my problems were not out of sheer bad luck...3 broken pads in a row? Not coincidental.)
http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopi ... sc&start=0 (Long topic, but you shouldn't have to look too hard to find out the general opinion and review of the Ignition 3.0.)

Ok, I will admit that RedOctane did a poor job on the USB portion of it. But that is what items like
this are for.

Actually, on most ITG2 machines, the setting is unlocked to make it only 1 credit to play doubles, meaning 1/3 or 1/4 of what you would regularly play on either of the three games.

Every ITG2 machine I've played on is set to $1 singles/$2 doubles.

Beat of the War 2 - Hard ( 8 ) - F - 336 perfects and 156 misses
When I was in L-ville on Saturday I tried BotW2 at Flakk's place and only got like 150 some perfect so I have improved ALOT in that song.

Played Witch Doctor on CZ (17) today....failed it...301 perfects, 108 misses...lol. I was bored and it was the bonus stage and stage break is off so I was like I will commit suicide on PiU.
Played mostly Supernova Today
ALMOST AA'd Seduction on Basic (5), I had 1 good......
ALMOST beat Seduction on Difficult (7), I do great until the end...I mess up when the 8th notes attack at the end.
